Chester Town Hall Parklet Project

The Chester Town Hall Parklet is a community initiative led by the Rotary Club of Chester in partnership with Chester City Council.  This project commenced in summer 2023 and is located outside Chester Town Hall annually.  We refurbish and replant and then hand back to the Council for display and watering.

The Parklet transforms part of the city centre into an attractive green space where residents, workers and visitors can relax, meet friends, enjoy lunch or simply take a break from the bustle of the city. Featuring refurbished seating, planters and a variety of shrubs, grasses and herbs, the project not only creates a welcoming environment but also encourages biodiversity and enhances the appearance of the city centre.

The Parklet is free for everyone to use and reflects Rotary's commitment to improving the local community through practical, lasting projects.
