Rotary Chester have joined with our neighbouring Wirral Rotary Clubs to support Ukrainian refugee families.  We have received a Rotary grant to provide educational equipment (contained in a school bag) including but not limited to stationary, calculators, books, sports supplies and hygiene products (as necessary) to Ukrainian refugee children across all of the Wirral penninsula and Chester. We are in contact with the respective Council offices for family contact details, but we are also responding to individual requests from families or hosts. (Update - in September 2022 local Rotary Clubs distributed a school bag containing educational items and an Asda voucher to 150 school children).
